Resolution for Maintenance of Streets and Highways
By Municipality Under the Illinois Highway Code
RESOLUTION N0. 1181
BE IT RESOLVED, by the f ' Board of Trustees of the
(Council qr Preeldenl and Board of Trustees)
Village _ of Plainfield ,Illinois, that there is hereby

appropriated th+~ sum of $ 0 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of maintaining
streets and highways under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code, from January 1, 199.$_
to December 31, 19..5$,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that only those streets, highways, and operations as listed and described on the ap-
proved-Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs, including supplemental or revised estimates approved in connec-
tion with this resolution, are eligible for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall, as Bonn as practicable after the close of the period as given
above, submit to the Department of Transportation, on forms furnished by said Department, a certified stat®ment
showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for this period; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Glerk shall immediately transmit two certified copies of this resolution
to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at ^ Schaumb r ,Illinois.

Dear Madam:
The resolution adopted by the President and Board of Trustees on January S, 1998
appropriating $47,150.00 of motor fuel tax funds for the maintenance of various
municipal streets from January 1, 1998, to December 31, 1998, was approved by this
Department on January 14, 1998.
The detailed estimate of maintenance cost in the amount of $47,150.00 for municipal
streets was also approved by this Department on January 14, 1998. Your file copies
are being returned herewith and to Allen Persons, Director of Public Works.
Expenditure for the full amount of the approved appropriation $47,150.00 from your
unobligated motor fuel tax account is hereby authorized and will be recorded on your
next monthly Allotment NotiEcation Letter.
