FACILITY PLANNING AREA EXPANSION
VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, on November 15, 1996, the Village of Plainfield, Will County, Illinois
(hereinafter referred to as "Plainfield"), and the City of Naperville, DuPage and Will Counties,
Illinois (hereinafter referred to as "Naperville") entered into a Boundary Line Agreement
(hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") establishing the boundary line far municipal
government planning, subdivision control, official map, ordinances and other municipal purposes
in the unincorporated area lying between the two municipalities; and
WHEREAS, a provision of the agreement is for revision of the Facility Planning Area fox
the Village of Plainfield to include the additional area added to the by the boundary agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BY THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY,
ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The Village of Plainfield endorses the Facility Planning Area Amendment Request as
submitted to the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission on May 28, 1997.
SECTION 2.
The Village of Plainfield authorizes the Director of Planning and Zoning, Peter J. Waldock,
and Village Engineer, Howard Hamilton, to act on their behalf in this matter.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
PRESENTED and passed by the Board of Trustees on a roll call vote on the 2nd
day of June 1997 with six Trustees voting aye, no Trustees voting
nay, no Trustees abstaining, and with no Trustees absent, President ROCK voting
