PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
~Reqular Meeting
DATE: Navembe.r 1, 1976 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board Present.
President Pottorff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge
to the Flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were present.
R. Leidig was appointed by the Board to act as Clerk Pro-tem.
G. Beahm made a motion to approve the minutes of October 4th, 7th and 18th
meetings as printed. Seconded by J. King. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to approve current invoices for payment except for
Miller Enterprises and Chobar's. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll call:
Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; King, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes,
no nays. Motion declared carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to grant request of Lions Club that Chicago Street
between Lockport Street and alley behind Steiner's be closed 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.,
Staturday, December 4, 1975 for Christmas lighting ceremony far nativity scene.
Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion declared carried.
J. King made a motion to award John Green Snaw Removal Contract for the year
at a rate of $20.00 per hour and to be on call by Guy Beahm or Joe Bennett.
Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by x'oll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley,
aye; King, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
G. Beahm made a motion to authorize Village Engineer to apply for release of
$6,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax Funds. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call:
Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; King, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes,
no nays. Motion declared carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to authorize Village Engineer to check out the
opening of Penn Road far Peace Lutheran Church request. Seconded by G. Beahm.
Motion declared carried.
On motion meeting adjourned.
