Special Meeting
DATE: September 27, 1976 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: G. Beahm, G. Ansley, J. King, R. Selfridge, L. Robinson,
Trustees were present. President Pottorff
was absent.
The Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield was called
to order at 7:30 p.m, with the Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken.
President Pottorff was absent.
R. Selfridge made a motion to appoint G. Beahm President Pro-tem. Seconded
by L. Robinson. Motion declared carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion that at the next Board meeting proceed with
details for having any contractor doing, work within the Village be
licensed, have Certificate of Insurance and follow requirements set by
Joliet Building Department. Seconded b J. King. Vote by roll call:
Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; King, aye; Selfridge, aye; President Pro-tem
Beahm, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to present Village Attorney with changes for
requirements for general repairs for issuance for Building Permits to be
incorporated in an Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance. Seconded by L.
Robinson. Motion declared carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to authorize Change Order G-4 and G-5 for the
new Municipal Building. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Robinson,
aye;, Ansley, aye; King, aye; Selfridge, aye; President Pro-tem Beahm, aye.
Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
