Regular Meeting

AT: Village Hall
-MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board Present
President Fottorff called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. with the
Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken. Complete Board was present.
The Treasurer's Report was submitted.
Village Engineer announced the following bids were received and opened
at the Village Hall July 19, 1976 at 11:00 a,. m.
Crown-Trygg Corporation
Joliet, Illinois $16,726.87
Delta Construction, Inc.
Thornton, Illinois 17,415.95
G. Beahm made a motion to accept the low bid of Crown Trygg Corporation,
Joliet of $16,726.87 for resurfacing of Ottawa Street from James to
Division Street. Seconded by J. King. Vate by roll call: Beahm, aye;
Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; King, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays.
Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 868, Chapter 5; Article 4
Section 4-1 of the Cade of Ordinances, "An Ordinance Establishing the
Housing Maintenance Code of the Village of Plainfield, Will County, Illinois".
Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye;
Ansley, aye; King, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to authorize Village Planner set up meetings camp.osed of
a Committee from the Village Board and Plan Commission with neighboring
municipalities relative to boundary agreements. Seconded by R. Selfridge.
Motion carried.
On motion meeting adjourned to an Executive Session at 9:20 p.m.
