Special Meeting
DATE: June 1.4, 1976 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: C. Pottorff, President, Trustees, L. Robinson,
G. Ansley, R. Selfridge. Trustee, G. Beahm
was absent.
President Pottorff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the
Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken. Trustee, G. Beahm was absent.
Concerned citizens and two representatives from Zartic Frozen Meats, Inc.
discussed with the Board various grieviances relative to parking and
noise pollution. A list of proposed suggestions is to be filed with
the Clerk for an opinion from the Village Attorney as to presentation
in Ordinance form. The opinion is to be presented at the next regular
Board meeting.
Ken Griffin, Representative from Illinois Bell Telephone Company requested
authorization to go ahead with preliminary work for installation of
telephone cable.
G. Ansley made a motion to authorize installation of Tines for preliminary
telephone work. Seconded by R. Selfridge. Motion carried.
An opinion from the Village Attorney was read relative to the legal
requirements for holding a special election to fill the vacancy of
a Village Trustee. The Board agreed to take the matter under
advisement until the next Board meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 10:25 p.m.
