Regular Meeting
DATE: March 15, 1976. AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: C, Pottorff, President, G. Beahm, L. Robinson,
G. Ansley, R. Selfridge, Trustees were present.
Trustee, S. Judy was absent.'
President Fottarff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m, with the
Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken. Trustee, S. Judy was absent.
The Treasurer's Report was submitted.
The Plan Commission Report was submitted. G. Ansley made a motion to
approve the recommendation of the Plan Commission to rezone old sewer
plant property, 306 James Street (under option to Bada Construction
to build condominiums) from Res. A to A-4. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by
roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Selfridge, aye. Four
ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to pass Ordinance No. $47, ':'An Ordinan.c.e Regarding
Gampasition of. the .Plan Commission,.and Prr~viding for its Organization and
Duties and Members Terms and Compensation", Chapter 7, Article 1, Section
1-1 thru 1-6 of the Code of Ordinances. Seconded by L. Robinson. Vote by
roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Selfridge, aye. Four
ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to pass Ordinance Na. 848, "An Ordinance Amending
The Code of Ordinances of The Village Of Plainfield, T.llinois, Relating To
Licensing a.nd Regulating The Sale of Alcoholic Liquors", Chapter 2, Article 1,
Section 1-9 of the Code of Ordinances. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll
call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Selfridge, aye. Four ayes,
na nays. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to give Ralph Bada a Certification of Liquor
License for Bowling Alley. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
Charles Zimmerman, representing the Bi-Centennial Committee, requested a
donation of $200.00 for flag decoration purposes. R. Selfridge made a motion
the .Village .donate $200.00 to the Committee. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by
roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Selfridge, aye. Four
ayes, no nays. Motion carried.

G. Ansley made a motion to advertise for bids for Improvements for
the new Municipal Building (sanitary sewer, watermain and roadway
improvements). Seconded by L. Robinson, Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye;
Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Selfridge, aye. Four ayes, no nays. Motion
carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to advertise for bids for Spring Clean-up
when date has been decided. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call:
Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Selfridge, aye. Four ayes, no
nays. Motion carried.
President Pottorff requested a full investigation .concerning conflict
of interest among Board members.
On motion meeting adjourned at 10:15 p.m.
