Regular Meeting
DATE: March 1, 1976 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board Present.
President Pottorff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge
to the Flag. Roll call, was taken. All members of 'the Board were present.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve minutes of the previous meetings as
printed. Seconded by L. Robinson. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve payment of the current invoices as
read. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye;
Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to accept recommendations of Plan Commission relative
to Plan Commission Organization Ordinance. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll
call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five
ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
S. Judy made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 846, "An Ordinance Amending Chapter
1, Article 2, of the Code of Ordinances." Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll
call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five
ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Relative to awarding bid on water main extension on Naperville Road tabled
from last regular Board meeting: R. Selfridge made a motion the Village pay
for the difference between a 6" and 8" main, for crossing the road and a
`r Resolution be drawn up stipulating the Village not pay for engineering fees.
However, if James Boyd taps the main the Village would get back its portion
for crossing the road and Mauer would get any reimbursement for bringing
main up to his property. Seconded by L. Robinson. Vote by roll call: Beahm,
aye.; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays.
Motion carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to accept T & R Construction Company bid of $19,150.00
with no alternates conditional upon Mauer depositing $17,861.50 in escrow by
March 12. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson,
aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion
carried.
G. Beahm made a motion the Clerk return all but the three low bid checks.
Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley,
aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Connie Bertino, Township Supervisor, was present and requested use of the
meeting room in the new municipal building for Township Board meetings.

Board was in agreement on request and informed Bertino a reasonable fee
would be charged.
The new liquor Ordinance draft, tabled from the last regular meeting was
submitted. Action was tabled until March 15 meeting.
It was agreed a special meeting would be held with regard to the new
municipal building which would be announced after R. Selfridge has conferred
with the Architect.
On motion meeting adjourned at 10:10 p.m.
