DATE: January 5, 1976 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board Present
President Pottorff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Frith the Pledge
to the Flag. Roll call was taken. Trustee S. Judy was absent at tall call
but arrived later.
G. Ansley made a motion to approve the minutes of the December meetings as
printed. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve payment of the current invoices as
presented. /Vote by tall call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Seconded by
Selfridge, aye. Four ayes, no nays. Motion carried. G. Beahm.
G. Beahm ma8e a motion to approve the invoice of McKeown Law Firm ($1,380.00)
and Geotech, Tnc. ($1,650.00). Seconded by L. Robinson. Vote by roll call:
Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes,
no nays. Motion carried.
A'cammunication from Connie Bertino, Township Supervisor, requesting reimbursement
to the Township for mosquito control was read. Action was tabled until it is
known what action the Park and School Boards are taking and what portion each
is reimbursing.
The following bids were read for a Police Squad Car at 8:00 p.m.
Hamilton Chevrolet-Oldsmobile, Inc. $4,398.66
Rod Baker Ford Sales, Inc. $4,532.84
G. Ansley made a motion to recieve the bids. Seconded by S. Judy. Motion carried.
The Board agreed to hold the bids until the County bids are received, therefore,
no action was taken.
R. Selfridge made a motian to pass a Resolution to give Al Mauer and Walter E.
Deuchler Assoc., Inc, authority to advertise far bids far water and sewer
extensions to Millrace Village. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to pass Ordinance No. $19-A, "An Ordinance Authorizing
An Agreement Providing for Charges of Sewer Services to Kerr-Glass Manufacturing
Corporation, Chapter 6, Article 3, Section 3-$ of the Codification of Ordinances.
Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye;
Judy, aye, Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.

Sue Townsend, representing Town. Meeting 76, was present requesting
endorsement of the Village Board and expenditures for the program.
Action was tabled until next Board meeting.
R. Selfridge made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 820, "An Ordinance
Prohibiting Left Turns On Division Street At Ottawa Street'; Chapter 9, Article 4,
Rec,...4-.7 .: of the Codification of Ordinances:, Seconded by L. Robinson.
Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye;
Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to pass Ordinance No. $21, ''An Ordinance Authorizing
Lease of 1973 Dodge Van For Civil Drfense", Chapter 1, Article 4,~Sec... 4-3 of the
Codification of Ordinances. Seconded by L. Robinson. Vote by roll call:

no nays. Motion carried.
S. Judy made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 822, "An Ordinance Removing
Automobile Service Stations As A Permitted Use In Zoning District B-1 And
Inserting Same As a Permitted Use In Zoning District B-3", Chapter 8, Article
3, Section 3-11 of the Codification of Ordinances. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote
by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye.
Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
The Plan Commission report concerning Case No .: 1.6-111175 Z was read by the Clerk.
S. Judy made a motion to accept Plan Commission Report. Seconded by R.
Selfridge. Motion carried.
S. Judy made a motion to deny the recommendation of the Plan Commission.
That the request of Ger.ald..and Everette Clark .to rezone property located at
107 and 109 Division Street from Res. A to B-1 be denied. Seconded by G. Beahm.
Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge,,
aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
The Plan Commission Report concerning Case No. 18-121275 AZ was read by the Clerk.
G. Ansley made a motion to accept the Plan Commission Report. Seconded by
L. Robinson. Motion carried. Action was tabled until a later d~t.e.
S. Judy made a motion. to accept the bid of Ralph Bada for $37,500.00 and
pass Ordinance No. 823, "An Ordinance Authorizing Sale of Municipally Owned
Real Property (Old Sewer Plant)", Chapter 7, Article $, Sec. 841 of the
Codification of Ordinances. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll call: Beahm,
aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye, Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye; Pottorff, aye.
Six ayes, no nays. Motion carried.

Six ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
The Rusty Runner Snowmobile Club presented desiginated routes far snowmobiling
to the Board. No action was taken and the item will be brought before the
Board January 19 when residents have the opportunity to be heard.
