Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were present. G. Ansley made a motion to advertise for a new police squad car, with Will County and also in the local paper. Seconded by G. Beahm. Mohan carried. The Treasurer's Report was submitted. The Clerk opened and read the following bids: .Tames Street Sewer Flant Site - 306 James Street Ralph Bada $37,500.00 Rezone to A-4 or Condominium Classification Good Shepherd Council No. 5573 Knights of Columbus 13,125.00 Donald Leaman 28,200.00 James C. Monday 18,500.00 William Pardieck 24,000.00 Police Station Property - 609 Lockport Street Patricia and James Reed 18,500.00 Ralph Bada I'.9,500.00 Edward E. Prebe 16,300.00 Donald Leaman 18,200.00 Robert E. Selfridge made a motion to accept the bids with a decision to be made at the January 5 Board meeting. Seconded by G. Ansley. Motion carried. President Pottorff made the recommendation that Patricia McKanna be appointed Secretary to the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. There were no objections. Rusty Runner Snowmobile Club, represented by Don Lambert, requested the Village adapt an ordinance allowing snowmobiles the use of certain streets to get into the Village with linnitation on hours. Action was tabled to allow. time to refer the request. to the Village Attorney for an opinion. A report from the Plainfield Plan Commision was read. R. Selfridge made a motion to accept the report. Seconded by A. Ansley. Motion carried. S. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye, Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried. A petition from members of the United Methodist Church of Plainfield was presented objecting to issuance of liquor license to Robert E. Pottorff.
