Regular Meeting
DATE: December 1, 1975 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board Present
President Pottorff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge
to the Flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were .present.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve the minutes of the November meetings
as printed. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to approve payment of the current invoices.
Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye;
Ansley, aye; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to have Village Engineer do the engineering for
water and sewer. and road into new municipal site. Seconded by G, Ansley.
Motion carried.
Village President appointed Steve Judy and Guy Beahm to the Police Pension
Board.
The Clerk opened .and read the following bids:
For Civil Defense Step Van: Sgt. Les Rains, Montgomery Civil Defense - $325.00
For 1960 Internation.al.1 Ton Truck: Phil Weugel, 6028 5. Kildare, Chicago - $150.00

G. Ansley made a motion to accept the bid of $325.00 by Les Rains of Montgomery
Civil Defense for the Step Van. Seconded by L. Robinson. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to accept the bid of $475.00 by Robert Luedtke for
the 1960 International 1 Ton truck. Seconded by S. Judy. Motion carried.

G. Beahm made a :motiar~ to pass Ordinance No. 819, Chapter 1, Article 4,
Section 4-2, 4-2-1 through 4-2-3 of the Codification of Ordinances,
entitled, "An Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Two Trucks". Seconded by
G. Ansley. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye, Ansley, aye;
Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to accept the bid of Rod Baker Ford Sales, Tnc.
for a .19.76 Ford ~ Tan truck at a cost of $3,514.61. Seconded by G. Beahm.
Vote by roll ca1l:Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Judy, aye;
Selfridge, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to pass a Resolution that the Officers of the Village
be authorized to enter into an agreement with Gregory L. Nitz and Robert J.
Cardwell to extend their tennancy to May 1 or before and terminate immediately
the tennancy on the paint shed all located on the site of the new municipal
building. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
S. Judy made a motion to authorize the Village Attorney to go ahead with the
Lease-Lease Back Agreement with Plainfield National Bank for financing the
new municipal building. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye;

Motion carried.
A letter of resignation was read from Helen Leidig, Secretary to the Plan
Commission.
R. Selfridge made a motion to have an investigation made into the transfer of
sale of Jack's Grill and the issuance of a liquor license to Robert E, and
Lucille A. Fottarff. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
Guy Beahm was appainted as Inspector on the new municipal building and also
Electrical Inspector on permits where James Monday is the electrical contractor.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
