Special Meeting
DATE: October 23, 1975
AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board Present
President Fottorff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge
to the Elag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were present.
R. Selfridge made a motion to reject all bids received on the Police Station
property and old sewer plant property. Seconded by G. Ansley. All ayes, no
nays. Motion carried.
S. Judy made a motion that the old sewer plant property on James Street be
the site for the new Municipal Building. Seconded by L. Taylor. All ayes,
no nays. Motion carried.
It was agreed by all Board members to hold a special meeting to discuss
Village Hall plans Wednesday, October 29, 1975 at the Village Ha11 at 7:30 p.m.
L. Taylor made a motion to relieve Donald Reed of his duties as Electrical
Inspector. .Seconded by Guy Beahm. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to appoint James Monday as Electrical Inspector for
the Village. Seconded by S. Judy. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
L, Taylor made a motion to ask the County Board to hold up action on Joseph
Frieders property rezoning until Bada annexatioA.petition.has been filed and
water and sewer easements procured. Seconded by L. Robinson, All ayes,. no
nays. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to permit Carol Dunlap, Planner, to go ahead with
committee setup regarding annexation. Seconded by S. Judy. All ayes, no nays.
Motion carried.
L. Taylor, retiring Trustee, was presented a plaque far six years of service
as a Village Trustee.
On motion meeting adjourned.
