PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
Regular Meeting
DATE: October 20, 1975 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board present.
President Pottorff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge
to the Flag. Ro11 call was taken. All members of the Board were present.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report. Seconded by
G. Beahm. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Police Chief Ron Johnson, Bolingbrook, was present to outline answering and
dispatching service proposal. No action was taken.
The following bids were opened and read by the Clerk:
Richard Rock - Police Station Property - $12,$50.00
Donald Leaman - Police Station Property - $i7b00:00
Felix Peraud - Old Sewer Plant Property - $15,200.00
(to build 6 to 8 unit apartment w/garages
Victor Pearson - Old Sewer Plant Property - $12,500.00

No action was taken on the bids. A special meeting to discuss Village Hall plans
and other perCinent Village business was requested ~'or Thursday, October 23rd at
the Village Hall at 7:30 p.m.
The Plan Commission Report, tabled from the last Board meeting, was presented.
Township Road Commissioner, Bernard Kubinski,was present. He stated he approved
the final plat for Christine Subdivision. His concern was regarding street lights
inasmuch as the Township has no funds for lighting.
R. Selfridge made a motian to accept the recommendation of the Plan Commission
with the fallowing solutions; deacceleration lane to be constructed along
Lockpart St., blacktop pad and shelter to serve the school children waiting for
school buses until one of the loop roads is completed in the subdivision.
Seconded by G. Beahm. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
G. Ansley made a motion the Village pay the difference between a 6" and 8"
water main to service Mauer Subdivision on Naperville Road, a cost of $3,900.00.
Seconded by S. Judy. Vote by roll call: Beahm, aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye;

Taylor, pass; Judy, aye; Selfridge, aye. Motion carried.
A letter of resignation from Trustee, LeRoy Taylor was read. On November 3
Mr. & Mrs. Taylor-are moving to Florida.
On motion meeting adjourned.
