Regular Meeting
DATE: July 7, 1975 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board present.
President Pottorff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Roll call was
taken. All members of the Board were present.
L. Taylor made a motion to approve the minutes of the previous meetings
minutes. Seconded by G. Ansley. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve the current invoices far payment.
Seconded by~G: Ansley. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
A variance pertaining to request for installation of sign at Plainfield
Shopping Plaza was presented by Jane Van Horn. L. Taylor made a motion
to a11aw a variance from 20 ft. to 160 ft. with stipulation o£ building
codes and inspection. Seconded by S. Judy. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to accept Report of Plan Commission. Seconded
by L. Taylor. Motion carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to instruct Village Engineer to survey area ixtvolved for
sewer connections and have an opinion far Board at next Board meeting.
Seconded by L. Taylor. Matson carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to continue Cemetary Annexation to. next Board.
meeting. .Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to pass Appropriation Ordinance for fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1975 to June 30, 1976, Ordinance No. 807, Chapter 11,
Article III,. Sec. 3-15 of the Codification of Ordinances. Seconded by
S. Judy. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
G. Beahm made a motion the Board accept Proposal No. I regarding retaining
Planning Technician, Carol Dunlap on grant funds as outlined with salary
at $8,600.00. Seconded by S. Judy. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion the Board instruct Village Engineer to contact
Highway Dept. with regard to obtaining easement down Route ~~126 through
Bada's proposed subdivision property. Seconded by S. Judy. All ayes, no
nays. Motion carried.

L. Robinson made a motion to approve water & sewer rates G. Ansley
has submitted and have Attorney draft Ordinance in. accordance. Seconded
by L. Taylor. Motion carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to have Clerk send an invoice to Distillers, Ltd.
in the amount of $1,000.00 for service of Village Sewer Department in
handling of berries. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
