PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
Regular Meeting
DATE: June 16, 1975 AT: village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board present.
President Pottvrff called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the.
Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were
present.
R. Selfridge made a motion for Street Trustee to contact Julius H. Massey
regarding his request for Village paying for a portion of blacktopping
of parkway at St. Paul's Church.. He is to see if something else can be
worked out and express the Board's feeling of denying the monetary request.
Seconded by L. Taylor. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Action on raising the water & sewer rates was tabled until the next Board
meeting.
Bids far motor fuel, oil, lubrication and road service for Village vehicles
were read as follows:
Chobar's Standard - Gasoline discount $.04 per ,gal. aft pump
price. Oil $.05 per qt.
Repairs at fair & competetive prices
Emergency road service - 24 hr. at
competetive prices, including towing
at competetive prices.
Allen Hall Texaco - Gasoline discount $.05 per gal. off pump
price. Oil $.10 per qt.
Road Service & 24 hour towing service
L. Taylor made a motion to accept Chobar's bid. Seconded by S. Judy. All
ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
S. Judy made a motion to accept Plan Commission Report. Seconded by G. Ansley.
Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a.motion to accept recommendations of Plan Commission
regarding Unit 10, Peerless Estates. Seconded by L. Robinson. All ayes, no
nays. Motion carried.

VILLAGE BOARD 0~' TRUSTEES MEETING June lb, 1975
L. Taylor made a motion to pass, Resolution approving Revenue Sharing
moaney for water tower purchasing fund. Seconded by G. Ansley. All ayes,
no nays. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to include $15,000.00 in budget far Comprehensive
Plan for fiscal year. Seconded by S. Judy. All ayes, no nays. Motion
carried. .
S. Judy made a motion to offer a salary of $8,600.00 to Planning Technician
for next year's position. Seconded by G. Seahm, Vote by roll call: Beahm,
aye; Robinson, aye; Ansley, aye; Taylor, aye; Judy, aye; Selfzidge, nay.
Motion carried.
