Special Meeting
DATE: May 28, 1975 At: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board present.
President Pottorff opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the fledge to
the Flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were present.
There was considerable discussion regarding extension of sewer along
Route 430 in front of Dr. Wallin's property. Wallin stated he wanted
to go on record as opposing the extension and annexation. Also stating
opposition was Bernard Bryant. The extension and proposed annexation
regard a residential development proposed by Ralph Bada and Louis Bertani.
With regard to other business, the raising of water and sewer rates were
discussed. No action was taken.
G. Ansley made a motion to protest to the 1% tax collection fee the County
of Will is proposing to implement. Seconded by L. Taylor. All ayes, no
nays. Motion carried.
It was agreed G. Ansley will serve with L. Robinson as liaison between the
Board and Civil Defense.
Meeting adjourned to an Executive session to discuss land acquisition.
