PLATNFTELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING

DATA: May 19, 1.975
AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board present.
President Pottorff opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge to the
Flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were present.
President Pottorff announced he would recommend William Eskridge and Donald
Pearson be appointed to the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.
L. Taylor made a motion Eskridge and Pearson be appointed. Seconded by
S. .Judy. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report. Seconded by
G. Ansley. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to approve Civil Defense Agreement with Villages of
Bolingbrook, Shorewood, and Romeaville. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motian carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to purchase a new 3M copier with 1/3 purchase price
down and complete payments on 30--60 day plan. Purchase price of $1,556.38
with trade in an old copier now in use in Village office. Seconded by
L. Taylor. All ayes, no nays. Motian carried.
The Board approved the request of Claude Just for display of blood donation
sign on Village property between Hall and Village Auto Service.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve the Library Budget. Seconded by L. Taylor.
All ayes, no nays. Motian carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to pass Ordinance No.798, Chapter 7, Article $, Sec.
8-28-1 thru $-28-5 of the Codification of Ordinances. Annexation of Route ~~59
to Renwick Road. Seconded by S. Judy. All ayes, no nays. Motian carried.
G. Beahm made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 799, Chapter 7, Article 8, Section
8-29-1 thru 8-29-5 of the Codification of Ordinances. Annexation of Route 4~3D
to edge of the Village limits. Seconded by G. Ansley. All ayes, no nays.
Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to Pass Ordinance No. 800, Chapter 7, Article 8, Sec.
$-~30-1 thru 8-30-5 of the Codification of Ordinances. Annexation of Route ~~126
to Castle Meadows Subdivision. Seconded by S. Judy. A11 ayes, no nays. Motion
carried.

G. Ansley made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 801, Chapter 7, Article 8,
Sec, 8-31-1 thru 8-31-5 of the Codification of Ordinances. Annexation of
143rd Street. Seconded by L. Taylor. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
S. Judy made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 802, Chapter 7, Article 8,
Sec.8-32-1 thru 8-32-5 of the Codification of Ordinances. Annexation of
Van Dyke Road to 135th Street. Seconded by L. Taylor, All ayes, no nays.
Motion carried.
G..Beahm made a motion to pass Ordinance No.803, Chapter 7, Article 8,
Sec. 8-33-1 thru 8--33-5 of the Cadification of Ordinances. Annexation of
Route 430 along the side of Super-Yalu Stores, Inc. Seconded by L. Taylor.
All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to pass Ordinance No. $04, Chapter 7, Article 8,
Sec. 8--34-1 thru 8-34-5 of the Codification of Ordinances. Annexation of
13Sth Street (filcher Road). Seconded by Lorin Robinson. All ayes, no
nays. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to continue the remaining annexation (cemetery)
until the June 16th meeting. Seconded by G, Seahm. Motion carried.
It was agreed to advertise for bids for Spring Clean--up. Bids to be
opened June 2nd meeting.
L. Robinson made a motion to pass Resolution No. 760, Objecting to the
1% Tax Collection Fee the County of Will is Proposing to Implement.
Seconded by 5, Judy. All ayes, no nays, Motion carried.
S. Judy made motion to pass Resolution to have Walter Deuchler, Jr.
go ahead in financing of Sewer & Water for Bada-Bertani proposed
annexation. Seconded by R. Selfridge. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
