PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
Regular Meeting
Organizational Meeting
DATE:. .April 2.1, 1975 •AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board present
President Pottorff opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge to the
Flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were present.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report. Seconded by
G. Ansley. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to pass Resolution N0. 756, A Resolution Authorizing
The Application For Flood Insurance. Seconded by H. Gehrke. All ayes, no
nays. Motion carried.

L. Taylar made a motion to authorize printing of Subdivision Ordinance
by THE ENTERPRISE, lowest bidder~at a cost of $320.00 and have Walter
Deuchler Assoc., Inc'. prepare a Water & Sewer Atlas at a cost of $500.00.
Seconded by G: Taylor. Motion carried.
A canvass of the votes of the Village Election, April 15, 1975 was conducted
~ before entire Board.
G. Ansley made a motion to pass Resolution No. 757, Declaring the Results of
the Election held April 15, 1975. A total of 542 votes were cast and
Guy A.Beahm with 370 votes, Lorin A. Rabinson with 273 votes and R. Steven
Judy with 221 votes ...were duly elected as Village Trustees. Seconded by
L. Taylor. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
H. Gehrke made a motion to pass ~ Resalution supporting the Fox Valley Freeway.
Secaxlded by W. Rahn. All ayes. no nays. Motion carried.
G. Taylor made a motion to adjourn, seconded by W. Rahn. Motion carried.
President Pottorff called the meeting to order. Village Clerk administered
the Oath of Office to newly elected Trustees, G. Beahm, L. Robinson and
Steven Judy. The new Board was seated.
President Pottorff appointed the following committees:
Finance.- George Ansley
Roads - Guy Beahm
Water & Sewer - LeRoy Taylor
Sidewalks and Health Officer - Lorin Robinson
Police - Steven Judy
Buildings - Richard Selfridge

President Pottorff will serve as Co-chairman on all committees.
L. Taylor made a motion to appoint Steve Judy to serve on Police Pension
Board. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to reappoint Claude Jennings as Treasurer. Seconded
by S. Judy. Motion carried.
It was agreed L. Robinson will serve with L. Taylor as liaison pertaining
to Civil Defense matters.
Village Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids on Village Vehicles for
gas and oil for the coming fiscal year.
On motion meeting ad~aurned to an Executive session to discuss legal matters
pertaining to Water & Sewer Department.
