PL:4INFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING.
DATE: December 2, 1974 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete .Board present
President Pottorff opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge to
the Flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were present.
On motion by R. Selfridge, the minutes of the previous meetings were
approved as printed. Seconded by G. Ansley. Motion carried.
G. Ansley made. a motion to pay the current invoices. Seconded by W. Rahn.
All ayes, na nays. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made motion to retain Thomas. Mefferd as Civil Defense Director
on a six months probationary period. Seconded by W. Rahn. All ayes, no
nays.. Motion carried.
G. Taylor made a motion to approve request of Plainfield Super Valu far
an internally illuminated sign (9' x 7') on their .property. Seconded by
W. Rahn. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to recommend acceptance of Read-Scott-Baldwin, Inc.
insurance package including public official liability and machinery breakdown
coverage i:n total insurance package. Seconded by G. Taylor. All ayes, no
nays. Motion carried.
G. Taylor made a motion to eliminate the December 16 regular Board meeting.
Seconded by G. Ansley. Motion carried.
On motion meeting adjourned.
