pLATNFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
Regular Meeting
DATE: June 17, 1974 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: C. Pottorff, President, W. Rahn, G. Ansley,
H. Gehrke, L. Taylor, R. Selfridge, Trustees
were present. Trustee, G. Taylor was absent.
President Pottorff called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. with the
Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken. Trustee G. Taylor was absent.
Motion by H. Gehrke, seconded by W. Rahn to accept the Treasurer's
report as presented. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
H. Gehrke made a motion to accept planning agreement between Village of
Plainfield and County of Will. The Village will hire Ms. Carol Dunlap
at a wage of $650.00 per month from July 1, 1974 to April 1, 1975. Ms.
Dunlap will be on Village payroll and Village will be reimbursed by Will
County on expenses incurred. Seconded by G. Ansley. All ayes, no nays.
Motion carried.
H. Gehrke made a motion to pass Resolution to have the Village President
sign an agreement for the development of a Comprehensive Plan. Seconded
by G. Ansley. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to pass a Resolution to apply to Motor Fuel: Tax
fund for $55,000.00 for miscellaneous street maintenance. Seconded by
L. Taylor. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Motion made by H. Gehrke, seconded by L. Taylor authorizing the Civil
Defense to purchase first aid supplies from Krebs Drug Store. All ayes,
no nays. Motion carried.
On motion, meeting recessed until Monday, June 24, 1974 at 7:30 p.m.
All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
