PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING

MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: C. Pottorff, President, W. Rahn
H. Gehrke, G. Ansley, G. Taylor,
R. Selfridge, Trustees were present.
L. Taylor, Trustee was present for a
period of time.
President Fottorff opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag at
7:30 p.m. Roll call was taken. Trustee L. Taylor was present for
only a period of time due to illness.
H. Gehrke made a motion to grant the request of Grover Foreman and
have two street lights at 200 James Street and Roberts Avenue and
Route ~~59. Seconded by R. Selfridge. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to accept the Planning Commission Report.
Seconded by H. Gehrke. Motion carried.
A petition containing approximately 240 signatures was presented to the
Board protesting the I-1 zoning proposal of the Findlay Farm North of
Marybrook Subdivision.
W. Rahn made a motion to reject the Planning Commission recommendation
of I-1 zoning in conjunction with a Pre-Annexation Agreement of Petitioner
Charles F. Stansberry. Seconded by H. Gehrke. Vote by roll call: Rahn, aye;
Gehrke, aye; Ansley, aye; G. Taylor, aye; Selfridge, pass. Four ayes, 1 pass.
Motion carried.
Spring clean-up decisia~i was tabled until next Board meeting.
G. Taylor made a motion to erect new Municipal Building on parking lot
property on Illinois Street. Seconded by W. Rahn. Vote by roll call:
Rahn, aye; Gehrke, aye; Ansley, aye; G. Taylor, aye; Selfridge, pass.
Four ayes, 1 pass. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to accept the Planning Commission recommendation
to annex Plainfield Township Park District property to the Village located

at Lockport Road at I-55. Seconded by G. Ansley. All ayes, no nays.
Motion carried.
H. Gehrke made a motion to annex three parcels of property owned by the
Plainfield Township Park District located at Caton Farm Road and I-55
as recommended by Planning Commission. Seconded by W. Rahn. All ayes,
no nays. Motion carried.
