PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
Regular Meeting
DATE: March 4, 1974 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: C. Pottorff, President, H. Gehrke, G. Ansley,
G. Taylor, R. Selfridge, Trustees were present.
W. Rahn and L. Taylor, Trustees were absent.
President Pottorff opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag at 7:30 p.m.
Roll call was taken. Trustees, W. Rahn and L. Taylor were absent.
Minutes of the February meetings were approved as printed on motion. by G. Ansley,
seconded by H. Gehrke. Motion carried.
R. Selfridge made a motion to approve payment of the current invoices. Seconded
by G. Ansley. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
A report from the Plainfield Planning Commission was read.
A report from the Plainfield Zoning Board of Appeals was read.
H. Gehrke made a motion the Village enter into a maintenance agreement with
IBM Corporation for the new electric typewriter. Seconded by G. Ansley.
Motion carried.
The Board ajourned to re-convene next Monday, March 11 at 8:00 p.m.
President Pottorff re-opened the adjourned meeting at 8:00 p.m. Roll call
was taken. Complete Board was present.
Discussion was held regarding Bada development. Board was in agreement
and favor of the proposed development.

L. Taylor made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 778, An Ordinance providing For
Dedication of School Sites Or For Payment Of The Fee Tn Lieu Of School Sites By
Land Developers, Sub-Dividers or Builders. Seconded by George Ansley. All ayes
no nays. Motion carried.
