Regular Meeting
DATE: January 21, 1974 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board present
President Pottorff opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge to the
Flag. Roll call was taken. All Board members were present.
L. Taylor=made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report. Seconded by
G. Ansley. Motion carried.
H. Gehrke made a motion to purchase a used police radio at $600.00. Seconded
by G. Ansley. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Carl Saunders, 808 Arnold Street,told of a sewer problem at his address.
Village Engineer is to make a study and report back to Board of his
findings to correct the problem.
L. Taylax made a motion to allow Wadsworth Company to extend the water main
175 to 200 feet according to Village Engineer's specifications and supervision.
They understand they are not to go beyond their property. Seconded by W. Rahn.
All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Ralph Bada requested information regarding annexing 147 acres of property and
providing water & sewer to the site. R. Selfridge made a motion for the Village
Engineer to go ahead and investigate as to feasiblilty far water & sewer to be
extended to the property. Seconded by G. Taylor. Motion carried.
H. Gehrke was appointed Convention Chairman with G. Ansley and C. Jennings as
Co-chairmen.
On motion meeting adjourned.
