R. Selfridge, Trustees, present.
Trustee, W. Rahn, a'hsent
President Pottarff opened. the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge
to the Flag. Roll call was taken. Trustee, W. Rahn was absent.
Minutes of the May 7th and May 21st meetings were approved. as read.
fin motion by R. Selfridge, seconded by G. Ansley the current invoices
were approved for payment. All ayes, no nays. Mohan carried.
L. Taylor made a motion fvr Deuchler's office to re-apply for Federal
Grant in order to rc-affirm our interest. Seconded by H. Gchrke. All
ayes, na nays. Motion carried.
Two fireproof legal files were approved. for the Village Clerk's office
at a cost of $280.75 each.
R. Selfridge made a mat ion to adopt an Orda.nance to purchase Pennington
property fronting Desplaines Street at purchase price of $35,000.00 over
a ten-year period with interest at 6~. Seconded. by H. Gehrke. All ayes,
no nays. Motion carr~.ed.
R. Selfridge announced. the spring clean-up is scheduled for one day,
June 30. Tony Tomich & Sons have contracted for the pick-up.
Bids were opened for the old squad car as follows: Ernest Wi1m, Jr.
$150.00, Ronald: G. Rossmiller, $250.00. H. Gehrke made a motion to
sell the car for $250.00 and accept Rossmiller's bid. Seconded by
L. Taylor. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Motion made by I.,. Taylor that majority approval of Board members
required to hear items not an agenda. Seconded. by G. Taylor. All ayes,
no nays. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned to an Executive Session.
