PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
Regular Meeting
DATE: May 21, 1g73 AT; Village Ha11
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board present
President Fottarff opened. the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with the. Fledge to the
Flag. Roll ca11 was taken - all members were present.
Motion was made by W. Rahn to accept Treasurer's Report. Seconded by G.
Ansley.
Village Attorney presented Petitions of Carl Minnick and Iya1 Warner, only
property owners involved. in vacation of a11ey between lotsl6 and ~, Evans
` Subdivision. The southern portion of alley has been previously vacated.
R. Selfridge made a motion to vacate the rest of the alley. H. Gehrke
seconded the motion. All ayes, na nays. Motion carried..
Village Attorney presented the Codification of Ordinances. Moved by L.
Taylor that Codification of Ordinances go into effect May 22 at 12 :01a.m.
Seconded by W. Rahn. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
L. Taylor made a motion to make arrangements to accept sewage waste from.
Kerr-Glass under conditions outlined by Village Engineer in conjunction
with Ordinance X662, whereby Kerr-Glass will t ake care of these conditions
subject to approval of EPA. Motion died. as a result of no second.
President Pattorff stated he will testify in behalf of Kerr-Glass if they
file suit against Village.
The Plainfield Free Public Library budget for the fiscal year was submitted..
- On motion by G. Ansley, the budget was accepted and. ordered. placed on file.
H. Gehrke seconded the motion. All ayes, no nays. Mota.on carried..
W. Rahn made a motion to engage Tony Tomich & Sons for spring clean-up with
dates to be determined. H, Gchrke seconded the motion. All ayes, no nays.
Motion carried.
H. Gehrkc made a motion the High School Administration Building be inspected
and. they be responsible for fees involved and issue permit. ~,. Taylor
seconded the motion. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned to an Executive Session.
