Roll call was taken. All members of the Board. were present. Motion was made by G. Ansley to approve the current bills as read.. Seeand.ed by ~;. Taylor, All ayes, no nays. Motion carried. Tt was agreed to advertise for bids on the old squad car. G, Ansley re parted an joint discussion meeting of School Board and taxing bodies. Next meeting is scheduled for May 29th. It was suggested each taxing body have a topic in mind for discussion, Ordinance #762, an Ordinance for condemnation and widening Plaza Drive, was submitted. far approval. 'L. Taylor made a motion to proceed. with the Ordinance and condemnation, seconded by H. Gehrke, A11 ayes, no nays. Motion carried. Ordinance #763, pertaining to condemnation proceedings and joining storm sewers between Center Street and Eastern Avenue, was presented.. for approval. Motion by W. Rahn, seconded by `L. Taylor to proceed with Ordinance. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried. President Pottorff re-opened the meeting. The bath of Dffice was administered to Helen Leidig, Village Clerk, by President Pottorff. The new clerk administered. the Oath of Office to President Fottorff and. then to Trustees, George Ansley, LeRoy Taylor and Richard Selfridge. The new Board was seated.. President Pottorff appointed the fallowing committees: W. Rahn made a motion to adjourn meeting. Seconded by Gr Ansley. Co, $5,000.00 check $69,715.00 Walton Canstr. Ca. $7,500.00 check $72,100.10 Hardin, Tnc. $5,000.00 check $68,$79.00 Loitz Bros. Constr. $5,000.00 check $72,263.10 R. Selfridge made a motion to accept all bids. G. Ansley seconded the motion. R. Selfridge made a motion to award the contract to the lowest bidder, Hardin, Inc. at $b$,$79.00. Seconded. by G. Ansley. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried. Paul Brumund, legal counsel for Franklin Brown and Earl Oita, outlined their desire for licensing a package liquor store and tavern located in Plainfield Plaza Shopping Center. 1,. Taylor made a motion to allow a tavern and. package liquor store license be issued.. H. Gehrke seconded t~ motion. Vote by roll call: Mahn, nay; Gchrke, aye; Ansley, nay; :1,. Taylor, aye; G. Taylor, aye; R. Selfridge, nay; C. Fottarff, aye. Four ayes, three nays. Motion carried. Mrs. Newkirk appeared on behalf of Senior Citizens Mini-bus service. G. Ansley made a motion to donate $12.00 per week toward the service. Seconded by ~. Taylor. All ayes, na nays. Motion carried. I,. Taylor made a motion to notify Kerr-Glass the Village agrees to take industrial waste sub3cct to payment determined. at a later data with discharge limited to provisions in Ordinance X662. Motion died due to lack of second. G. Ansley made a motion to accept Parking Prohibition Ordinance, Seconded by H. Gehrke. All ayes, no nays. Motion carried. On motion the meeting ad3ourned.
