The Board of Public Works of the C U of :Lichmond , Indiana , met
in re;`°ular session in the office of the said Board Monday, July
12, 19201 at 9 A.M. All the icier. oers of the said Board being pre-
_ sent Messrs. Gilbert , Taylor, and Pet tz , the follow_I ng proceed-
ings were had to-wit :-
The Board received a check for 442.32 for the removal of ashes
from the Post Office from July 1st, 1919 to June 30th , 1923 . The
Board instructed the City Controller to issue check to F.E.Slick
I/
for 424.27 in payment for ashes removed from the Post Office un-
der his contract up to March 1st , 1920.
The Board `.ranted J. H. Parker permission to put in a street
sewer inlet at the alley west of SW. 3rd St. at "D" at the rate
of thirty ( 30V) cents per hour, under the direction and approva1

Upon the recommendation of Mr. Miller, Fire l+lilei , r,iT. Peitz
moved that the applications for ap-_ Ointment as members of the
Fire Dept . of Lorie John Long; Norman J. Wilson, & George Harri-
son Baker be accepted and the;; be appointed from August lst ,1920
on the platoon system. Motion prevailed.
The Board then adjourned.
