Thurs. July 1, 1920.
The Board of Public 'r'lorks of the City of Richmond, Indiana , met
in regular session in the office of the said Beard Thursday, July
1, 1920, at 9 A.M. Two of the members of the said Board being
present Messrs. Gilbert, and Peltz , absent Mr.' Taylor the follow-
. ing -_;roceedi ,gs were had to-wit :
I/ The Board received a report of appraisement made by Appraisers
appointed' to appraise in the matter of the Direct Current Machin-
ery of the Light Plant.
The 'Board approved the Primary Assessment Roll of Benefits & Dam-
ages in the matter of the vacation of the 2nd alley west of Sheri-
dan st. running from Laurel St. north to alley running east and
west between Laurel & Railroad Sts. in the E. & J. Railsback Add.
under Declaratory Resolution #118-1918 . The Board fixed the 15th
day of July., 1920 as the day of hearing against said assessment .

The Board instructed the Clerk to advertise for 25 ,000 tons of
Steam Coal for the M.E.L. & P.P. , nut and slack or .mine run, to be
delivered within the next six ( 6) months, and 250 tons either lump
or egg domestic coal for City Bldgs. Analysis of the Coal to 'be
submitted with each bid. F.O.B. mines.

Mr. Peitz moved to adjourn until Thursday', July 8th , on account of
next Monday, July 5th, being taken for the celebration of the Lath '
Motion prevailed.
