( Special Session. )
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met
in Special Session in the office of said Board Saturday, June 19,
1920 , at 10 :00 A.M. -All the members of said Board being, present
Messrs. Gilbert , Taylor and Feltz the following proceedings were
had to-wit : -

I/ The Board met to receive bids for the improvement of South "E"
Street under Improvement Resolution #578-1920 as modified. No
bids being received Mr. Peitz moved that the said improvement be
laid on the table indefinitely. Seconded by Mr. Taylor motion
prevailed.
The Board met to receive bids for the improvement of South 4th
Street and Ft. Wayne Ave. under Improvement Resolution `569-1919 .
No bids bein7 received Mr. Taylor moved that the said improvement
be laid on the table indefinitely. Seconded by Mr. Peitz moti on
prevai led.
The Beard met to receive bids for the imnrc cement of North "A"
Street & North 2nd Street under Improvement Resolution #575-1920 ,
the following bid was received :
Daniel G. Burkhardt ' s bid:
Cement sidewalk ( 6' ft wide) per square foot , .30
Straight curb & Futter ( one foot Tide ) per- linear foot , 1.26
Circle curb & gutter( one foot wide ) per linear foot , 1. 51
Cement walk intersections , per square foot , 9 .33
Cement drive-way curb , per square foot , .30
Cement roadway, per square yard, 3.45
Mr. Burkhardt' s bid being the only one received and which was
above the Engineer' s estimate Mr. Feltz moved that It t be reject-
ed , and said improvement be laid on the table indefinitely.
Seconded by Mr. Taylor motion prevailed.
