day, June 17 , 1920 , at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board
being rresent Messrs. Gilbert, Taylor, and Peltz the following
- proceedings were had to-wit : -
The Board granted R. R. Holzapfel permission to cut the curb
for a 15' ft. driveway infront of Real Estate #8 & 9 on the
east side of North 3rd St. in the Cook & Cox' s Add. subject to
the inspection and approval of the City Engineer.
The Board instructed the City Engineer to go to Cincinnati to
see tile—Barrett Co. in regard to getting as early shipment as
possible of Tarvia.
The Board instructed the Clerk to notify the Utilities not to
cut into asphalt paving without Special Permission from the
Board of Public Works.
Mr. Davis, City Engineer, reported to the Board his investigation
in the use of emulsified asphalt for paving streets , and for
Bridge floor surfacing. He reported that the use of the mater-
ial in Indianapolis had proved very satisfactory, and recommend-
ed that it be used in Richmond.
The Board then adjourned.
