Regular Meeting
DATE: December 3, 1979 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Trustees: G. Ansley, J. D'Arcy, J. King, D. Rife,
L. Robinson were present. President R. Selfridge
was absent.
In the absence of President Selfridge, Village Clerk, Shirley Yates called
the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge to the flag.
J. D'Arcy made a motion to appoint Trustee G. Ansley as President pro-tem.
Seconded by D. Rife. Motion declared carried.
Roll call was taken. President R. Selfridge was absent.
D. Rife made a motion to approve the minutes of November 5 and November 19,
1979. Seconded by L. Robinson. Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion that Ordinance ~~95b, Chapter 6, Article 3, An Ordinance
Amending Section 3-2~1 of Ordinance ~~901, Section 3-2-1: Charges for
Privilege of Water and Sewer Connection be tabled till next meeting.
Seconded by J. King. Motion declared carried.
J. King made a motion to hire Robert Bostanche as a full time police
officer at the rate of $13,008.00 beginning January 1, 1980.
J. King made a motion to withdraw his motion.
D. Rife made a motion that the 2 hr. parking in the downtown area be
curtailed beginning December 4 to January 2 for the Christmas holidays.
Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; D'Arcy, aye;
King, aye; Rife, aye; and Robinson, aye. 5 ayes. No nays. Motion
declared carried.
On motion meeting adjourned at $:32 p.m. to an Executive Session to
discuss personnel.
