Ansley, J. D'Arcy, J. King, D.Rife, L. Robins an, and S. Yates were present. President Selfridge called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. with all xuembers of the Board present. The Board approved the request of the use of the Village Hall meeting room ,far Septa 12, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. for the Lily Cache Homeowner's Association. P.resi~dent Selfridge 'declared October 12, 1979 the annual Lions Club candy day. President Selfridge read a letter of request from Mr. Wm. Couglin of the Plainfield Jaycees granting permission to black Chicago St. from Fox River St. to Desplaines St. for Oct. 26 to Oct. 31, 1979 from 5:30 p.m. till 12 midnight for their Halloween Haunted House. Tabled till next meeting. President Selfridge read a letter from Mr. Fred Santerelli of Opportunity Homes representing Plainfield North, i.n-respo.ns,e to .annexing into the Village. It was agreed by the Board for Trustee Loren Robinson and Village Planner, Ann Hintze to proceed in regards to the possibility a'f.'-annexing. Mayor Selfridge has requested a study session of the Village. Board of Trustees, Monday September 10, 1979 in the Board Room at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Grants with Mr. Bernard Prola of Caller, Houser, and Hutchinson, Inc. Consulting Engineers.
