Mon. May 17 , 1920.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session in the office of said Board Monday,
May 17, 1920, at 9 A.M. All the members of the said Board
being present Messrs. Gilbert, Taylor, and Peitz the follow-
ing proceedings were had to-wit :-

Permission was given W. N. Thompson to tap sewer between. North
6th & 7th St. running from alley 1st south ofNorth "D" Street
to North "B" St. ; thence east to 7th St. for the benefit of
Lot #69, C . W. Starr' s Add. on the payment of Ten ( p10) Dollars.

The Board instructed the Bldg. Inspector to have the roof of
the house belonging to the City #618 North 10th St. repaired.
The Board received of N. H. Johnson, Gen. Mgr. copy of petition
filed before the Public Service Commission of Indiana in the
matter of the re-valuation of the property of The Richmond
Light , Heat, & Power Co. , and for the fixing of rates for
Natural & Artificial Gas. Referred to the City Atty.
The Board granted the Mid-West Auto Service Co. permission to
cut the curb under private contract for driveway 20' ft wide &
6' ft in length in front of H. P. Temple Bldg. on South 8th St.
subject to the approval of the City Engineer.
The Board approved and signed the Contract & Bond of Forest E.
Slick, Contractor, under Improvement lOsolittion 572-1919.
The Board approved and signed the Contract & Bond of Daniel G.
Burkhardt, Contractor , under Improvement Resolution 574-1920.
Upon the request of Mr. Dillon, Supt. of the Light Plant , the
Board instructed the City Atty. to prepare an Additional Appro-
- -pri ation Ordinance for Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars for
the Coal Account M.E.L. 8c:'P.P.
The Board then adjourned.
