Re: SWA Residential/Governmental Disposal Credits for Fiscal Year Beginning 10/01/2020
Dear Town of Gulf Stream:
The Solid Waste Authority of PBC is in the process of distributing 2020/2021 Residential Credits to
jurisdictions and private haulers. Please follow the instructions in this letter for prompt credit
distribution. Below is a tonnage table. It depicts the annual tons a unit type produces of waste based on
the waste generation study performed by the Authority. The Disposal Credit calculation is as follows
(Tons X Rate = Credit). Credits are distributed for disposal fees charged at our waste facilities.

Disposal Fee Rates:
$42.00 per ton

The enclosed Credit Distribution Authorization Form indicates the number and type of billable
residential units in your jurisdiction for the Non -Ad Valorem Assessment Roll. These available credits will
apply against charges incurred at our facilities. Additionally, you may continue to use permitted
vegetative processors for your vegetative waste. The facilities should provide the Authority with a
report of your activity each month to be applied to your vegetative credits. However, it will be your
responsibility to verify the reported amounts to your records and correct any errors with the permitted
vegetative processor. A list of permitted vegetation processors is available on our website at
www.swa.orq. Complete the form by circling one of the four options provided. Please email, mail, or fax
back the form. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to
