The Board instructed the Clerk to notify Forest Monger that the _Board will not grant his ree est of cha -�ir` grade of sidewalk on North "D" St. infront of his storage building. The Board granted Ora Harold of Spring Grove permission to garden the ground at the gravel site for the sum cf v 20.00 for the sea- son of 1920. - The Board instructed Supt . Dillon of the M.E.L. ?: P.F. to take up with the Fire Marshal and State Bldg. Inspector the matter of hav- - ing interior wiring done by licensed electriciahs. I/ _ Mr. 1..m. Kelley, Atty. for i odefeld Mfg. Co. , art eared before the Board and made a preposi ti cry that said company would accept Seven Thousand (57000.00) Dollars for the property at the west end cf the Main St. Bridm°e and retain the buildings thereon. Mr. Pelts roved that ` e Board recommend to Council the purchase of the above described property for the sum of Six Thousand (46000 .00) Dcllars allowing said company to retain buildi n?s. Seconded by Mr. Taylor. 424 Monday, April 5, 1920. Bills to the amount of 11 ,433. 27 were allowed and ordered paid. The Board ar}rroved the various ray rolls up to April 2 , 1920. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, April 8th, 1920 , at 9 A.M. All the members of the sai d Board being present Messrs Gilbert , Taylor, and Feltz the follow- ing proceedings were had to-wit : - . H. E. Pairreather, Traffi c' Commissioner , with the Ft . r+a.yne • Traffic Bureau, i resented to the Board a Contract to collect over charges on all freight bills. ?:`r. Peitz moved that the Board accept she above mentioned contract after being approv- ed by the City Atty. Seconded by Mr. Taylor . The Board met to hear all' persons interested or wb'' ose property is affected bT the vacation of the 1st alley south of S. "C" St. running from S. 10th St. east to the 1st: alley running north and south between South 110" & "BT` ai . between Lots 3 & 4 • Jonathan Moore' s Add. to the City of hichmend as provided for under Declaratory i esoluti an #139.1920. No one appearing and no remonstrance having been filed the Board took final action on sGi d resolution, the same being confirmed without modifica- tion, and the Board ordered that a roll be prepared of all owners or holders of propert;, and all valuable interest there- in sought to be taken or to he injuriously affected , which list or roll shall also describe the Property beneficially affected , and the Board fired a price to beassessed as bene- fits 3.00 per front foot an South 10th St .
