Rescheduled Meeting
DATE: January 22, .1979 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: President R, Selfridge, Trustees, G. Ansley,
G. Beahm, J, King, D. Rife. and L. Robinson
were present. Trustee J, D'Arcy was absent
President Selfridge called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the
Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken. Trustee J. D'Arcy was absent.
Letters of request from the Easter Seal Rehabilitation Center and Race of
Dimes Center for soliciting were read.
G. Ansley made a motion to approve requests. Seconded by D. Rife, Motion
declared carried. Village Clerk was instructed to send letters of acknowledgement
with note to refrain from soliciting in traffic lanes.
It was agreed and announced that the Township Board meetings would be held
the second Monday of each month instead of the first Tuesday of each month
in the Board Room.
G. Ansley made a motion to approve current invoices for payment as presented
with all but 10% to be paid on Computer bill. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by
roll call: Ansley, aye; .Beahm, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Five
ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
The Treasurer's Report was submitted.
President Selfridge presented a service badge to Police Officer Ann Higgins.
D. Rife made a motion to pass a Resolution to apply for an additional $4,000.00
in Motor Fuel Tax funds for snow removal. Seconded by J, King. Vote by roll
call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Five ayes,
no nays. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to ad~jpurn to an Executive Session to discuss personnel
at 8:20 p.m. Seconded by J. King, Motion declared carried.
