Regular Meeting
DATE: October 16, 1978 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: President R. Selfridge, Trustees;
G. Ansley, J. King, L. Robinson,
Trustees G. Beahm, J. D'Arcy, and
D. Rife were absent.
President Selfridge called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
with. the Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken; Trustees
G. Beahm, d'. D'Arcy, and D. Rife were absent.
J. King made a motion to approve payment of invoices as
presented. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; King, aye; Robinson,
aye; Selfridge, aye. Motion .declared carried.
It was announced that Santa Clause day will be December 2, 1978.
J. King made a motion to authorize the Police Department to
purchase two file cabinets at a price of $1,020.00. Seconded
b~ G Ansley. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; King, aye;
Robinson, aye; Selfridge, aye. Motion declared carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to accept the Hughes preannexation
agreement, Ordinance No. 926.. Seconded by G. Ansley. All ayes,
No nays. Motion declared carried.
L. Robinson made a matian to accept the annexation of the
Hughes property, Ordinance No. 927. Seconded by G. Ansley.
F,11 ayes, No nays. Motion declared carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to rezone the Hughes property to B--4.
Seconded by J, King. A11 ayes, Na nays. Motion declared carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to set Candy Drive dates far November 3
through. 4, 1978. Seconded by J. King. Motion declared carried,
L. Robinson made a motion to authorize Civil Defense to give
ambulance service to the Village and Township for 12 months or
until funds are depleted. Seconded by J. King. Motion declared carried,
J. King made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by G, Ansley.
