City of Richmond, Indiana,
Mon. Feb. 9, 1920.
The Board of Public Works of the City of ilichmond, Indiana, met
in regular session in the office of said Board Monday, February
9th, 1920, at 9 A.M. Two of the members of the said Board being
present Messrs. Taylor, and Peitz, absent Mr. Gilbert the follow-
ing proceedings were had to-wit :- _ _
The Board received a letter from H. W. Gilbert, Pres. , notifying
them that he would be unable to be present; and recommended that
Something be done to get rid of the ice on Main Street, also
stating that he for one would not be willing to. sign the Freeman
et al Electric Contract at this time . Letter was ordered placed
on file.
The Board received a communication from the Alberger Pump .& Con-
denser Co. with three copies of print #YR-10663 for the boiler
feed pump they are furnishing the M..E.L. & P.P. , and asking that
one copy be approved and' returned to their office -for their file.
Referred to Mr. Dillon, Supt. of the Light Plant.
The Clerk was instructed to write F.E.Slick, Trash & Garbage Con-
tractor, demanding that the City be given immediate relief from
the trash and garbage situation.
The Board then adjourned.
