Regular Meeting

.MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Complete Board Present
President Selfridge called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the
Pledge to The Flag, Rall call was taken: All members of the Board
were present.
G. Ansley made a motion to approve payment of current invoices as
presented. Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye;
Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Six
ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
The Treasurer's Report was submitted.
J. King made a motion. to pay Kale Uniforms $100.00 per month until the
balance is paid and reimburse Art Henschen $251.00 and Dare Hoffman $33.3
for uniforms with two officers being reimbursed each month until balance
is paid. Seconded by J. D'Arcy.
G. Ansley made a motion to rescind the motion on uniforms and made a motion
to reimburse the Police personnel first until all are paid then clear up
the Kale Uniform invoice. Seconded by D. Rife. Vote by roll call: Ansley,
aye; Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Six ayes,
no nays. Motion declared carried.
D. :Rd:f~ made a motion to table Ordinance No. 917 (weight loads) until next
Board meeting. Seconded by L. Robinson. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to publish notice in order that a public hearing
may beheld July 13, 1978 on the Appropriation Ordinance for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1978. Seconced by D. Rife. Vote by roll call:
Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye.
Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion to accept Plan Commission Report .. ...seconded by J. D'Arcy.
Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion to accept Plan Commission recommendation to rezone
West half of Lot 1 and all of Lot 2, Plainfield Acres Subdivision from
B-3 to B-4 district. Seconded by G, Beahm. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye;
Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Motion declared
carried.
D. Rife made a motion to have letter sent to Illinois Department of Transportation

stating that the Village i:s in favor of the installation of a traffic signal system
at Routes 59 and 126 and agrees tv pay for the energy supply to operate the
signals. Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye;
D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Six ayes, no nays. Motion
declared carried.
Planning Technician Ann Hintze presented a review of the Areawide Water Quality
Management Plan.
D. Rife made a motion to execute Commonwealth Edison Agreement for lights for
Village Hall Parking area. Seconded J. D'Arcy. Vote by roll call: Ansley,
aye; Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye.. Six ayes,
no nays. Motion declared carried.
President Selfridge appointed G. Ansley and J. King as committee to investigate
Parks Brvs proposed annexation .
J. D'Arcy made a motion to shut off all building permits and occupancy permits
in Whispering Creek Units I and II until storm water facilities are completed
with release subject to Board approval and will be reviewed at next Board
meeting. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye;
D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Six ayes, no nays. Motion
declared carried.
On motion meeting adjourned to an Executive Session to discuss personnel.
