Regular Meeting

MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: President 5elfridge,•Trustees, G. Ansley,
J. D'Arcy, J. King, D. Rife, L. Robinson
- were present. Trustee G. Beahm was absent
President Selfridge called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. with the
Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken. Trustee G. Beahm was absent.
J. King made a motion to approve minutes of March 6th and March 20th
as printed. Seconded by L. Robinson. Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion to rescind motion of February 20, 1978 to have
Ordinance drafted to allow no parking on North side of Amboy Street.
Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; D'Arcy, aye;
King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared
carried.
J. King made a motion to accept the resignation of Lynn Dean, crossing
guard. Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Motion declared carried.
J. King made a motion to hire Pam Perkins for four hours per day as crossing
guard .only. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye;
D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Five ayes, no nays.
Motion declared carried.
J. D'Arcy made a motion to authorize Village Clerk to place a classified
ad for part time clerical employment. Seconded by D. Rife. Vote by roll
call: Ansley, aye; D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Five
ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to accept the Plan Commission Report. Seconded by
D. Rife. Nation declared carried.
J. D'Arcy made a motion to direct Attorney to prepare Ordinance relative
to petition (Case No. 51-328782) to change the zoning from B-2 to B-3.
Seconded by D. Rife. Vote by roll call: Ansley, .aye; D'Arcy, aye;
King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Five ayes, no nays. r2otion declared
carried.
President Selfridge appointed Lorin Robinson, James tiJrath, Robert Whitley,
Sig_uxd.' Hjemvick and Vito 5ebastiana as Ex-Officio members of the Plan
Commission to serve terms of one year.
D. Rife made a motion to approve the appointments. Seconded by J. King,.
Nation declared carried.

D. Rife made a motion to authorize Village Engineer and Attorney to proceed
with preliminary engineering and legal work pending letter of credit in the
amount of $20,000.00 relative to Trinity Bag Company. Seconded by J. D'Arcy.
Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson,
aye. Five ayes,. no nays. Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion to authorize Village Engineer to make application for
grant and facility plan of study to EPA for increase in sewer services.
Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; D'Arcy, aye;
King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Five ayes, no nays. Motion declared
carried.
On motion meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m. to an Executive Session to discuss
personnel.
