'Special Meeting
DATE= August 29, 1977 AT: Village Hall
,MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: All members of Board.iaere present.
President Selfridge called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. Roll call
was taken. Trustee L. Robinson was absents arrived later.
Mr. Michael Kunstadt representing the U. S. Postal Service and Mr. Edward
Remus, Plainfield Postmaster were present. Considerable discussion was
held relative to relocated Post Office and parking facilities. Local
merchants were also in attendance.
The Village Board agreed to send letter directed to Mr. Kunstadt making
the following provisions.. for a period of ten years:
1. Provide designated parking from 6:00 a.m. to
9:00 a.m. for postal owned or leased vehicles,
Desplaines Street parking lot.
2. Provide employee and patron parking at public
parking lot on Illinois Street.
N.o bids were received for gas and oil for Village owned vehicles.
On motion meeting adjourned to an Executive Session to discuss personnel.
