MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Trustees, G. Ansley, G. Beahm, J. D'Arcy, D. Rife,
L, Robinson were present. President R, Selfridge
was absent. Trustee D'Arcy was absent for roll call.

Roll call was taken. President Selfridge and Trustee J. D'Arcy were absent.
G. Beahm made a motion to appoint J. King as President Pro-tem. Seconded by
D. Rife. Motion declared carried.
President Pra-tem J. King opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag.
The Treasurer's Report was submitted.
D. Rife made a motion to apprave. oversize sign at Twin Twist,, Plainfield. Shopping

D. Rife made a motion to have Ward Electric install six mercury-type street
lights at a cost of $450,00 each. Seconded. by J. D'Arcy. Vote by roll call:
Ansley, aye, Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye; King, aye.
Six ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion Albert Easton be appointed Electrical Inspector effective
August 1, 1977. Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Motion declared carried.
J. D'Arcy made a motion to approve one week training program for two dispatchers
far CETA Program paid 'out of general fund prior to Contract period. Seconded by
U. Rife. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; Rife, aye;
Robinson, aye; King, aye. Six ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion to accept Plan Commission Report. Seconded by G. Beahm,
Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion to accept recommendation of Plan Commission tv deny
petition of Gerald W. Mueller for rezoning at 607 Main Street from A-2 to A-4.
Seconded by G. Beahm. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye;
Rife, aye; Robinson, aye; King, sye. Six ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
J. D'Arcy made a motion to authorize purchase of Plainfield-Lockport City
Directory far Village Clerk's Office at a cost of $45.00. Seconded by
G. Beahm. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; Rife, aye;
Robinson, aye; King, aye. Six ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 896, "An Ordinance Amending
Section 4-1-4 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Plainfield."

L. Robinson. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye, Rife, aye;

No action was taken on a request far a liquor license by Tom Hughes,
Pride Service Station and Mini Mart, Route 4659 and Renwick Road.
