Mon. Sept. 29, 1919 .
The Board of Public Works of the ('ity of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session in the office of said Board Monday , Sept. 29 ,
1919 , at 9 A.M., All the members- of the said Board being present
Messrs. Gilbert, Taylor-, and Peltz the following proceedings
were had to-wit :-
Pursuant to postponement to this date the Board meets to hear all
persons interested in or whose property is affected by the va-
cation of the 1st alley east of North 5th St. running north and
- south from North "D" St. to the 1st alleyffunning east and west
south of North "D" St. under Declaratory Resolution No. 128-1919 .
No one appearing and. a. remonstrance having been filed the Board
now takes final action on said resolution the same being confirm-
ed without modification, and the Board orderes that a roll be.
prepared of all owners or holders of property and all. valuable
interest therein sought to be taken or to be injuriously affect-
ed which list or roll shall also- describe the property beneficial-
ly affected. The Board fixed the price to be assessed as benefits
to be 03.00 per front foot on North "D" Street..
The Board meets to hear remonstrances if any of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of South 9th St. from S.
"E" St. to the South Corporation Limits of the City of Richmond,
by paving the roadway of said street on such portion of said street
as is not improved by paving under provisions of the. 3-Mile Road
Law under improvement Resolution No. 558-1919. No one appearing
_ and no remonstrance having been filed the Board approved the Final
Assessment Roll confirming in all things the original assessment
roll as heretofore approved, and said assessment roll is further
ordered transmitted forthwith to the Dept. of Fina ce.
The Board instructed the Sanitary Inspector to investigate_ the
sanitary condition of the Greek Restaurant between 9th & 10th Ste.
on the south side of Main.
The Board then adjourned.
