Regular Meeting
DACE: June 6, 1977
AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OP BOARD PRESENT: All members of Board were present
President Selfridge called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the
Pledge to the Flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board
were present.
D. Rife made a motion to approve minutes of May 2 and May 1b meetings
as printed. Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Motion declared carried.
G. Beahm made a motion to approve current invoices for payment except
R. & L. Construction for sidewalks. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll
call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye; D'Arcy, aye; King, aye; Rife, aye;
Robinson, aye. Six ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
D. Rife made a motion to approve sending a member of Plan Commission
to Champaign for seminar June 16 thru 18 if one is able to attend.
Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Vote by ro11 call: Ansley, aye; Beahm, aye;
D'Arcy, aye; King, aye;, Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Six ayes, no nays.
Motion declared carried.
J. D'Arcy made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 889, "An Ordinance Extending
The Number Of Ex Officio Members Of The Plan Commission," Chapter 7,
Article 1 Section 1~1-1 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Plainfield.
Seconded by D. Rife. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Beahm aye; D'Arcy,
aye; King, aye; Rife, aye; Robinson, aye. Six ayes, no nays. Motion
declared carried.
J. King made a motion to pass Resolution No. 774, "A Resolution Providing
For Five Additional Ex Officio Members of the Plainfield Plan Commission
Under the Terms of Chapter 7 Article 1, Section 1-1-1 of the Codified
Ordinances of the Village of Plainfield. Seconded by G. Beahm. Motion
declared carried.
J. King made a motion to have finance officer prepare budget for review.
Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Motion declared carried.
J. King made a motion to not charge Library for use of meeting room once
a month. Seconded by J. D'Arcy. Motion declared carried.
On motion meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
