pany' track drains kept open, and the brick streets along their
right-of-way repaired at once.
Bills to the amount of y 4,553.75 were allowed and ordered paid.
The Board approved the various payrolls up to August 16th, 1919 .

- The Board of Public :corks of the City, of Rich: cnd , Indiana , met
in regular session in the office of said _board Monday , August 25 ,
1919 , at 9 A.M. all the members of the said Board ti einc- present
Messrs. Gilbert , Taylor , and Feltz the. following proceedings were
had to-wit :-
The Board approved the ' Primary Assessm_cnt Roll in the matter of
Improvement Resolution 567-1919 providing for the construction of
a cement roadway in the alley between North 20th & 21st Streets
from the 1st alley north of Main Street running east and west to
North "C" Street.
Pursuant to continuati on to this date the Board meets to hear re-
monstrances if any of persons primarily assessed on account of
- the ve cati. on of the 2nd alley south of Main :t . between lots 2 &
- 3, G . Bond' s Add. from the west si.d-e of, South 7th St. to the 1st
alley west running north and south between 6th & 7th 5ts.. under
Declaratory Resolution No. 123--1919 , no one remonstrating the
Bosr approved the 2i-wa1 Asses; me..t Roll of benefits & damages
confirming in all things the original assessment roll heretofore
approved, and thereupon declare said portion of said alley above
designated vacated and now direct that a copy of said assessment
roll Vbe forthwith transmitted to the Dept. of Pinance.
r'heBoard received a petition for a passage of a Resolution pro-
viding for the improvement of liorth 27-rd at. from N. "B:' to N. ".
Street by constructing a cement curb & gutter 1' ft wide on both
sides of said street , an.d graveled roadway. Signed by A. A.
Mumbovrer, and J. E. Clark. Referred to the Engineer for plans.

The Board received a communication from the Public Protective
League , 620-21 Indiana Pythiad Bldg. , Indianapolis , Indiana, . (bee

The Clerk was instructed to notify the Supt. of the P.C .C. & St. L.
R.R. Co. to have the reeds and under brush cut along their right-of-
_ Say between the river and Sheridan .t . especially at Sheridan Street
viaduct .
His Honor the Mayor informed the Board that Dr. Kinsey had tendered
his resignation as Health Officer v.hich he accepted, and stated that

he had reinstated Dr. George B. Hunt who recently returned from Over
Seas Service .
The Board then adjourned.
