Jania, C. Smith., J. King, G. ...Ansley, L. Robinson, D. Lambert OTHERS PRESENT; Village Administrator-J. West, Village Clerk-V. Krnac, Village Attorney-R. Buck., Police Chief-H. Buehl Meeting resumed at 7:30 p.m. Roll call was taken. All Board Members were present. Mayor Selfridge announced the will County Municipal League will meet Thursday, April 14, 1983 at Merichka's Restaurant at 7:00 p.m. Cash bar will begin at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be $12.00 per person. Anyone wanting to attend should contact Jim West, Village Administrator. Mayor Selfridge announced he and the Post Office representatives have been meeting on a site plan for the new Post Office and is now going to the Plan Commission. The Post (7ffice is interested in the downtown area, specifically the Illinois Street Parking Lot. G. Ansley made a motion to advertize for bids in the Enterprise for Health and Life Insurance for Village employees, Specs will be available at the Village Ha11 on April 13. The bid opening will be at 7:30 on April 25, 1983. Seconded by J. King, Vote by roll call. Jania, aye; Smith, aye; King, aye; Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye; Lambert, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. L. Robinson made a motion to go into Executive Session for discussion of reappoint- ment of Chief of Police Harry Buehl. Seconded by D. Lambert. Vote by call call. Jania, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye; Lambert, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. At 7:45 p.m., adjourned to Executive Session At 8;40 p.m., returned to Regular Meeting. L. Robinson made a motion to terminate Mr, Buehl as Chief of Police effective immed- iately. Seconded by b. Lambert. Vote by roll call. Jania, aye; Smith, aye; King, aye; Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye; Lambert, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. Lt. M. Lantz expressed his appr.e.ciation to the Village Board, J. West, V.
