(Special Session. )
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
_ Special Session in the office of said Board, Wednesday, July 30th,
1919 , at 2 P.M. All the menbers of the said Board being present
Messrs. Gilbert, Taylor, and Peitz, the following proceedings were
had to-wit :-
I/
Pursuant to a call the Board met and accepted the resignation of
John B. Sittloh as Street Commissioner to take effect August 1st ,
1919 . Mr. Peitz moved that Albert Schneider be appointed to succeed
John B. Sittloh as Street Commissioner. Seconded by Mr. Taylor so
ordered.
The Board then adjourned .

Thursday, July 31, 1919.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met in
regular session in the office of said Board Thursday, July 31, 1919
at 9 A.M. All members of the said Board being present Messrs.
Gilbert, Taylor, and Peitz , the following proceedings were had to-
wit :-
The Board instructed the Bldg. Inspector to take up with the Fire
^Chief and inspect the apartment building at the corner of North 16th
& "C" Street , and then report back to the Board.
The Board instructed the Engineer to prepare proper Building,and
Plumbing Code for the City of Richmond.
A representative of the Central Union Telegraph Co. appeared before
the Board in regard to the sale of the surplus poles that they have
in the City to the -Light t Plant . The Board decided to take this un-
der immediate consideration.

Mr. Perry Williams appeared before the Board requesting that South-
west 6th Street from National toad to South "A" St. be vacated as a
street and made into a 20 ft. alley. Referred to the City Engineer.
