(special Session. )
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in Special Session in the office of said Board, Tuesday, July
29 , 1919 , at 10:00 A.M. All the members of the said Board being
present, Messrs. Gilbert , Saylor, and Peitz , the following pro-
_ ceedsngs were had to-wit:-
Er. Gilbert stated that the object of calling this meeting was

that the oiling of the streets is very unsatisfactory. The
Board instructed the Engineer to eliminate the placing of sand
over the tarvia and close the streets a sufficient length of time
to let the tarvia be absorbed.
The Board instructed the City Atty. to ascertain if there is not
some way to have the County Treasurer collect the amount of
money expended for cutting weeds on vacant lots by the City.
The Board instructed the Engineer to have the weeds cut on the
twe lots owned by Milton Craighead at South 16th & "B" Streets,
and send bill for so doing to Mr. Craighead.
The Board then adjourned.
