Meeting was brought of order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken. All
members were present.
At 7:05 p.m. bids were opened for the equipment to log all calls in
our dispatching system:

Continuation of October 18, 1982 Meeting
G. Ansley acknowledged receipt of bids. Seconded by J. King. Vote
by roll call. Smith, aye; King, aye; Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye;
Lambert, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
Mayor Selfridge appointed G. Ansley, L. Robinson and D. Lambert. as
a committee to review the bids for logging equipment on dispatching
calls in the radio room.. They will review the bids and report back
to the Board at the next meeting, November 1, 1982.
G. Ansley made a motion to authorize Engineer Gene Gordon to review.
the plans for improving Illinois Route 126, from approximately
Penn Road east to Ash Street. Not to exceed eight (8) hours of
Engineering Study. Seconded C. Smith. Vote by roll call. Smith, aye;
King, aye; Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye; Lambert, aye. 5 ayes, no nays.
Motion declared carried.
Engineer Ajit Singh, gave a report on Step Z Facility Plan for our
Waste Water Treatment System, Project C-172552. Award of the contract
should be out before October 1, 1984 to receive 75~ of the cost from
the State. Engineer Gene Gordon, suggested a meeting far Saturday,
November 6, 1982 a~ 11:00 a.m. to go over this Plan. This will allow
the Baard time to review the Plan before the meeting.
H. Countryman reported to the Board, Well #4 is ready to go, but
before it can be put into use a sample for bacteria must be taken.
Pumping has been monitored at approximately 850 gallons per minute.
J. West had a question on employees working shift work, who would
like to trade shifts. The Berard approved shift trades, but it must
be approved by their Supervisor and Administrator J. West. We will
try this for 90 days, if there are any problems, it will have to
be stopped.
Mayor Selfridge suggested to the Board to get back to regular Study
Sessions, to get the problems solved that the Study Sessions were
orginally called for.
