successive monthly installments of at least 1,250.00 payable on.
or before the 15th day of each calender month beginning with
August , 1919 , plus interest on such monthly payments at the rate
of 6% per annum from July 15th , 1919 , to the date of the respec-
tive payments thereof, with the privilege of paying during any
one or all of such months an additi onal sum of $500.00 or any
multiple thereof, upon said purchase price ; a warranty deed for
said Real Estate free of all liens, and Bill of Sale for said
personal property to be placed in escrow by said Trust Company
with the Second .National Bank of said City upon the payment of
-said sum of$12,500.00, to be delivered to said City when said
entire purchase price , plus said interest , is fully paid, and
Be it further Resolved that the City Controller and Treae
surer be and they are hereby authori zed and directed forthwith
to execute and deliver to said Dickinson Trust Company warrants
of said City for said sum ofp12 ,500.00 as part of said purchase
price, said sum to be paid from the General Fund of the Municipal
Electric Lighting and Power Plant of said City .

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of. the . said Board, Monday, July
21, 1919 , at 9 A.M. All members of the said Board being present
Messrs. Gilbert , Taylor, and Peitz the following proceedings were.
had to-wit :-
Mr. Peitz moved that the Market Master, and Dairy Inspector re-
port to the Board of Works the condition of all Ice Cream Parlors
and Milk Depots. Seconded by Mr. Taylor so ordered.
The Board instructed the Market Master to have the toilet at theI/
Market House rut in good condition.
John Foulke was granted an extension of time until July 26th to
finish removing the building material on Park Place between S.
10th & llth Streets.
A petition was received for the improvement of the alley between
North 12th & l3th Streets from North "C" St. to North . "D" for
the construction of a cement roadway signed by W. L. Ellis and
eight others. Referred to the Engineer for plans.

The Clerk was instructed to notify Omar Hollingsworth to make some
provision to keep the mud off the sidewalk and also to have the
weeds cut at his lot on the south-east corner of North 15th and
Putt Street .
The Clerk was also instructed to notify Agnes M. King of 24 North
West 5th Street to have the weeds cut on her lot on Pearl Street
near 7th.
I/ The Board meets to hear all persons interested in or whose property
is affected under Improvement Resolution No. 568-1919 providing for
the improvement on both sides of South 9th St. from South "H" St.
to South "L" St. by constructing cement sidewalk 6 ft. wide. No
one appearing and no remonstrance having been filed the Board de-
cided that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said
improvement are equal to the cost of same as reported by the City
Engineer and thereupon take final action on said Resolution, the
same being confirmed without modification.
Bills to the amount of $27,946.26 were allowed and ordered paid
The Board approved various payrolls up to July 16th, 1919 .
The Board then adjourned.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of the said Board Thursday, July 24th
1919 , at 9 A.M. All members of the said Board being present Messrs.
Gilbert , Taylor, and Peitz, the following proceedings were had to-
ll wit :
The Board appointed Theodore Lamb , custodian, of the City Bldg. , to
date from July 21st, 1919 .
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 570-1919
providing for the improvement of the alley between North 12th and
13th Streets from North "0" to North "LT' St. , by constructing a
cement roadway the full width thereof.
The Clerk was instructed to notify Fred Corcoran of 115 North 12th
Street to have the trash in the alley at the rear of his property
removed.
